L’acronimo, Prodotti Internazionali Alcolici e non Alcolici, così come gli scaffali vintage e le antiche stampe appese alle pareti rimandano ai primi anni del Novecento, quando questa azienda di distributori al dettaglio e all’ingrosso intraprese la propria attività. L’enoteca, che da decenni rifornisce numerosi ristoranti e bar della città, è oggi il luogo perfetto per avere una vasta scelta di vini di tutte le regioni italiane. Innumerevoli, naturalmente, le etichette piemontesi: se siete alla ricerca dei barolo e dei barbaresco delle cantine più rinomate non rimarrete delusi. Non mancano, comunque, i piccoli produttori e i vitigni autoctoni meno conosciuti. Il consiglio? Provate uno degli ottimi Pelaverga di Verduno. OTTIMO RAPPORTO QUALITA’ PREZZO

La drogheria/enoteca, mantiene gli stessi arredi da quando fu fondata nel 1958 dalla famiglia Damarco e riesce a unire, nella scelta dei prodotti, attenzione per il territorio piemontese e multietnicità: qui infatti troverete non solo numerose etichette di piccoli produttori piemontesi e italiani (molti dei quali in una fascia di prezzo compresa tra i 4 e gli 8 euro), ma anche una ricca rappresentanza di vini stranieri, da Francia, Spagna, Portogallo e Germania, dal Sud America, da Sudafrica, Marocco e Libano. Damarco è ormai un vero punto di riferimento a Torino se volete acquistare a un prezzo molto competitivo ottimi vini, distillati di ogni tipo e una grande varietà di confetture, mieli, caramelle e quant’altro.

The wine, which for decades supplies numerous restaurants and bars in the city, is now the perfect place to have a wide choice of wines from all Italian regions. There are many Piedmontese labels: if you are looking for Barolo and Barbaresco of the most renowned wineries will not be disappointed. Grocery / wine that keeps the same decor since it was founded in 1958 by Damarco family and manages to combine, in the choice of products, attention to the Piedmontese and multiethnic territory: here you can find a lot of small Piedmontese labels and Italian producers (many of them in a price range between 4 and 8 euro), butyou can also find a rich representation of foreign wines from France, Spain, Portugal and Germany, from South America, from South Africa, Morocco and Lebanon. Damarco has become a true landmark in Turin if you want to buy fine wines, spirits of all kinds and a variety of jams, honey, sweets and more fine at a very competitive price.
