Infini.to è un moderno Museo della scienza (astronomia e astrofisica trovano un ottimo connubio) composto dal Museo interattivo dell’Astronomia e dello Spazio e da un Planetario digitale tra i più avanzati d’Europa. Troverete numerose installazioni interattive che permettono al visitatore di sperimentare e approfondire temi astronomici; è possibile assistere a spettacoli nel Planetario digitale, seguire visite guidate, percorsi interattivi e cimentarsi in esperimenti scientifici attraverso laboratori.

Il Museo può essere visitato liberamente acquistando il biglietto di ingresso o tramite una visita guidata accompagnato dallo Staff di Infini.to, composto da esperti comunicatori della scienza (durata della visita: 1 ora circa).

Per i bambini Infini.to organizza, il primo weekend di ogni mese, “Lo Spazio ai bambini” interamente dedicato ai bambini e alle loro famiglie, proponendo spettacoli, laboratori e un accesso a tariffe agevolate.

Infini.to nasce sulla collina di Pino Torinese il 28 Settembre 2007. Oggi, è una realtà radicata sul territorio piemontese. Fiore all’occhiello di Infini.to è il suo Planetario digitale. Completamente rinnovato a marzo 2013, dispone di un sistema di proiezione tra i più avanzati al mondo.

La struttura richiama un oggetto celeste realmente esistente: un sistema binario costituito da una stella gigante rossa e un buco nero. La sfera che racchiude la sala del Planetario rappresenta la stella, mentre il cono di cristallo, che dall’ingresso scende fino al piano -3, riproduce il getto astrofisico di un buco nero posto all’ultimo piano del Museo. Le rampe elicoidali rappresentano il gas che, dalla stella gigante spiraleggiando, viene risucchiato dal buco nero.

 

INFO UTILI

Infini.to si trova sulla cima di una collina nel comune di Pino Torinese, a una distanza di circa 10 km dal centro della città di Torino e di circa 6 km dal centro della cittadina di Chieri à ATTENZIONE! E’ difficilmente raggiungibile senza auto, soprattutto la sera!!

 Parcheggio

Infini.to dispone di parcheggi GRATUITI per auto/moto/bus in via Osservatorio. Sono disponibili anche parcheggi per disabili.

Mezzi pubblici GTT

Occorre servirsi della linea 30 (urbana+suburbana) dei bus che collegano il centro di Torino (C.so San Maurizio) con Chieri.

Dalla fermata “Osservatorio” il percorso fino all’ingresso del Museo sito in via Osservatorio 30 richiede circa 20 minuti a piedi, lungo una strada in salita.

 La Caffetteria del Museo offre la possibilità di prenotare la “Cena sotto un cielo di stelle”.

La struttura di Infini.to non presenta barriere architettoniche: negli spazi museali l’accesso è garantito grazie ad ascensori e rampe, mentre all’interno del Planetario sono previsti alcuni posti per persone non deambulanti.

Infini.to is a modern science center (astronomy and astrophysics find here an excellent combination) consisted of the interactive Museum of Astronomy and Space and a digital planetarium among the most advanced in Europe. You will find many interactive installations that allow visitors to experience and deepen astronomical themes; you can attend performances in the digital Planetarium, follow guided tours, interactive tours and you can even engage in some scientific experiments. The Museum can be visited freely by purchasing the entrance ticket or with a tour accompanied by expert communicators of science (duration of the visit: about 1 hour).

Infini.to organizes, the first weekend of every month, “Space for children” designed specifically for children and their families, offering performances, workshops and access to discounted rates.

Infini.to born in the hills of Pino Torinese 28 September 2007. Today, it is a reality rooted in Piedmont. Infini.to is proud of its digital planetarium, that was completely renovated in March 2013 and it has a projection system among the most advanced in the world. The structure evokes a celestial object that actually exists: a binary system consisting of a red giant star and a black hole. The sphere that encloses the hall of the Planetarium is the star, while the crystal cone reproduces the jet astrophysicist of a black hole on the top floor of the museum. The helical ramps represent the gas which, by the star spiraling giant, is sucked into the black hole.

Infini.to sits on top of a hill in the town of Pino Torinese, at a distance of about 10 km from the center of the city of Turin and about 6 km from the center of Chieri

CAUTION! It’s hard to reach without a car, especially at the evening !!

Parking Infini.to has free parking for car / bike / bus in via Observatory. It is also available a disabled parking.

GTT public transport It must use the line 30 bus that connect the center of Turin (C.so San Maurizio) with Chieri. From the “Observatory” stop, the path to the entrance of the Museum it takes about 20 minutes walking along an uphill road.

The Museum Cafeteria offers the possibility to book the “Dinner under the stars”

The Infini.to structure has no architectural barriers. The access to museum is guaranteed thanks to lifts and ramps, while inside the Planetarium there are some places for people with limited mobility.
